六代目・小川文齋（興）様は、彫刻を学び、さらに京都の陶芸技術を徹底的に学び直すことで、より自由で立体的な造形に挑戦してきました。伝統に甘んじることなく、日展への挑戦や個展、さらには日常の器や空間オブジェにまで視野を広げて制作を続ける姿勢は、まさに“継承と革新”を体現しています。

この自然な色の重なりは、光の当たり方によって変化し、朝の光の中では涼やかに、夕刻にはやや紅みを帯びるといった、青磁特有の光彩のゆらぎを内包しています。まさにこの器の上には、「時間」と「空間」が封じ込められているのです。
