Smoke-fired Earthenware Coupe Dish sea specimen and Argan OilIntroducing Claywoodstone by ceramist Heather Gabriel. Each of her smoke fired vessels and sculptural objects are handmade from earthy, rustic earthenware, including micaceous white with unique metallic flecks as well as "mocha" varieties. All pieces are burnished with leather and a beach stone, then fired multiple times in a primitive pit firing process with salvaged wood scraps to create unique smoke patternsmaking each piece a true one of a kind
