Rack5 Mill Bridge is an imposing pieceRack5 started as a rack without shelves. The shelves were made by making cuts in the vertical sides and back panels of the rack and then origami folded into horizontal shelves. The result is a strikingly frivolous, open cupboard that although made from full European oak looks light and sculptural, and because of its playful form evokes references to the Carlton cupboard by Ettore Sottsass. Rack5 is part of a series of cabinets basically all based on
