I made my way around the north end of the lake and stayed to photograph the two moose for another forty five minutes with Longs peak in the background

while they are reflected onto the surface of a calm and peaceful Wildflower lake scene in Northern Illinois

I set off from the trailhead with camera gear and tripod in hand on this July summer morning at Wildflower Park
