The locket opens closes well and has its original picture retaining shim on one side. The locket is stamped "SILVER" on the reverse. It weighs approx. 5. 74g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with age and use, the item has some minor marks and dents in some areas, see pictures video.
