It holds the prestigious Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) status and is harvested in late August. Fermentation involves 20% of the grapes in barrique barrels and 80% in stainless steel tanks for freshness and aroma preservation. Aging for three months in bottles maintains the same proportions, with 20% in barrique and 80% in
