This 1 2" gouge features an 8 1 2" long stained hardwood handle, providing a comfortable grip and excellent control during use. The blade, made from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS), is traditionally hot forged by hand and hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 62 64, ensuring durability and long lasting sharpness. Measuring
