Made of silk, the backside and the top border are white with a subtle dragon and cloud pattern, while the front side is gold with a gold embroidered houshu no tama flame commonly associated with Inari and fox spirits. Uchishiki is mainly used by followers of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism on the upper table (Maejyoku) and the front table
