It's not the most refined, given the plushness of tannins and the quite ripe fruit doing most of the talking right now, but this is appealing with a chalky edge to the tannins. A hint of alcohol does come through on the finish with clear wood spicing; bountiful and generous, this needs time, but promising. 91 Pts
